Paradise has now a name - Nabucco Island!!! We spent 2 wonderful weeks on the small island in the Maratua Atoll in July 2003.
For the guests there are only 8 double and 1 single bungalow - with this small amount of guest accommodation it is guaranteed that there will never be any mass tourism.
The wooden bungalows are simple and lovely with stairs leading directly into the sea. Each bungalow has a balcony, which offers a beautiful view of the sea and where you can relax and enjoy the sun (as there is no sandy beach on Nabucco).
A wonderful open-air restaurant built over the sea fulfills all gourmet dreams!!! The cook does not seem to cook but to do magic - it is not recommended to be on a diet when staying on Nabucco Island!!!
The staff is very friendly and courteous and contributes to an unforgettable stay on this dream island.

The staff of Extra Divers is professional and helps to make the dives unforgettable.
Beside the great daytrips to Sangalaki (Mantas) and Kakaban (Jellyfish Lake) all other wonderful dive sites are around Nabucco Island which can be reached within 5 to 20 minutes.
The reefs are covered with beautiful soft and hard corals which are in a very good condition. From macro to big fish almost everything can be admired: Nudibranchs, flatworms, various shrimps, pygmy seahorse, ghost pipefish, leaffish, stonefish, crocodilefish, shoals of batfish, shoals of bumphead parrotfish, huge shoals of barracudas, sea snakes, cuttlefish, turtles, leopard sharks (zebra sharks), whitetip reef sharks, grey reef sharks, various stingrays, eagle rays and last but not least the mantas.
We were very impressed by the dives around Sangalaki, where we had the luck to not only dive but also snorkel with the mantas.
