Until June 2006 all
pictures in the VisionDive gallery were taken
with the Nikon F80 camera in a Subal housing and
the strobe Subtronic Mega.
Since July 2006 all pictures are made with the
Nikon D200 camera. For wideangle shots the Nikon
lenses DX Fisheye-Nikkor 10.5mm/2.8G, DX Zoom-Nikkor
12-24mm/4G or AF Nikkor 20mm/2.8D are in use.
For close-ups is the AF Nikkor 35mm/2.0D, AF Micro-Nikkor
60mm/2.8D or the AF Micro-Nikkor 105mm/2.8D on
the camera. By using those lenses with the Nikon
D200 note that the focal length will be extended
by the factor of 1.5.
The camera is placed in a Subal ND20 housing.
All camera functions can be handled from the
housing. For the 10.5mm lens the domport DP-FE2
is used. For the 12-24mm lens the domport DP-FE2
with the extension ring EXR-50 is on the housing.
For the 20mm and 35mm lens the domport DP-FE2
with a +2 diopter adjustment lens is mounted
(those two lenses can also be used with the
domport DP-SWB and a +4 diopter adjustment lens).
For the 60mm lens the flatport FP-FC60 is on
the housing and for the 105mm lens the flatport
FP-FC60 with the extension ring EXR-33.
The strobe is the Subtronic Nova dttl with
external batteries. The battery is integrated
in the strobe arm and separated from the housing
what gives a much better buoyancy to the strobe.
